The Black Church Feels Victimized!

This morning on This Week, Donna Brazile stated something that nearly floored me. She came out in defense of Jeremiah Wright but that isn’t what caused me concern. Outside of the inner circle of the official campaign Brazile is WORM Number 1. She has been so in the tank for Obama for so long that anything remotely connected to his campaign receives an automatic thumbs up from her. I think it is a prerequisite to being a member of the Cult or something. Everything Barack says is gospel. He is in fact the Messiah in their mythology. So whatever crap comes out his mouth is divine guidance for us lesser folks. But the thing that Brazile stated that threw me for a loop was that the reason Wright is coming out now and speaking is because he believes that the black church has been victimized. And according to Brazile it isn’t just Wright that has this impression. In fact many other members of the black clergy feel that the black church has been victimized. Of course she doesn’t bother to provide any proof.

Brazile spews her absolute nonsense.
Just like The Exorcist without the pea soup.

Brazile at about 15:27 into the video:

This is one of the reasons Reverend Wright feels compelled. I’m not saying he should come out and preach or talk. BUT this is one of the reasons he feels so strong about coming out.

And then George Stephanopoulos asks the question many of us have been wondering:

But why is he doing it knowing that this can’t be all that helpful to Senator Obama?

Brazile, always full of answers even if they are foolish ones continues:

Because he believes and many others in the black church believe that this is ultimately an attack on the black church. The black spiritual institutions. Black preachers. Tonight he is speaking to the largest branch of the NAACP in Detroit.

Tomorrow there’s a group of black clergy. They’ve invited him to Washington D.C., a divinity conference, to talk. Because the black church feel victimized. This goes beyond whether or not this hurts Senator Obama. This is hurting race relations in America.

Now let me get this straight. The reasoning behind this belief is because Wright has been justly condemned for his racist, bigoted, anti-American views and he is black. Therefore those of us that condemn him for his behavior are apparently just a bunch of prejudiced hicks. We make the assumption that if Jeremiah Wright said these things and is a black preacher then therefore ALL black clergy are just like Jeremiah Wright! And we are the ones hurting race relations in this country. Shame on us!

How can anyone in their right mind accept this proposal? Does Brazile believe that ALL white folks think of one mind when it comes to their views toward black folks? That certainly seems to be what she is saying. And that troubles me considering her position on the DNC. It bothers me as a Democrat. It bothers me as a white male. And it bothers me as a human being.

But none of this should all come as a big surprise. Donna Brazile was the one who called Jeremiah Wright a “moderate” black preacher on This Week.

Brazile spews even more crap about Wright.
Pass the high waders please.

BRAZILE: We’ve known, I mean I’ve known Jeremiah Wright and actually Jeremiah Wright is one of the more moderate black preachers. Just go to the church down the street from my house and I see women coming with their hats on the other side of their head [as Donna demonstrates in the screencap] because they have been lifted up.

The Barack Obama campaign apparently supports the Brazile position as well. I recall distinctly that it was the Messiah Obama himself that said that he could no sooner disown his racist Reverend than he could disown the entire black community. Because it seems to Barack that ALL blacks think of one mind. It must also explain why he can’t disown that horrid racist Louis Farrakhan as well. He is black therefore he is a member of the black community and therefore he cannot disown him. Of course with Barack, he sees white folks in a similar vein. Remember how he called his own grandmother as a “typical white person” when asked about the content of her character?

But to Brazile, Obama is pure as the driven snow. According to her, Barack has been victimized as well from that mean old Clinton woman and her racist McCarthy like husband. At the very end of this video Brazile makes the spurious claim that I am certain she and the Obama campaign all “hope” we all believe.

Brazile insults anyone with a shred of intelligence.
Maid Donna pours the kool-aid liberally.

Brazile at about 17:18 into the video:

Look, Barack Obama is where he’s at because he DIDN’T play the race card. And I keep saying… what part of the race card is he going to play, his white mother or his black African father?

Just in case you don’t speak WORM here is a translation that even underclass white bitter hicks will understand.

Barack Obama cannot be a racist. Because he had a white mother and a black father it is impossible for him to harbor any resentment toward anyone. You must forget what he wrote himself in his own books about his resentment for white people. Doesn’t matter. And you can’t take into consideration that he called his own grandmother a “typical white person” because he is partially white and knows how us white folk think. That’s what Donna Brazile and all the other WORMs are saying. And they hope that if they repeat that lie to you long enough you will finally begin to believe it. Or at least forget the truth.

Yeah, black Church is always the Victim. Maybe that’s what happened when they start mixing Church with politics.

Always the Victim never the Bully; It’s okay for them to curse America, and White People… and it’s not fair when you complain about it.

    WTF!

Their problem is they have championed a candidate who is realy weak and under normal circumstances, wouldn’t be in the game. However because he is black and the liberal wing has a gilt complex, they are a factor. However in the end, if not judged evenly in the Democratic Party, it will be done in the General Election.

Racism is racism; hatred is hatred. It doesn’t matter whether it is coming from the political right or political left. Rev. Wright, Obama, Brazile and others are turning off those of us who fought years for equality because they do not believe in equality. They want superiority over other races.
